When I first started seeing reviews on Halo Headbands I was intrigued, but skeptical... I mean I'm not doubting ya'll sweat a lot or anything (lord knows ya'll have the sweaty pics to prove it) but there aren't many of you that live in 100% humidity 24/7 like I do. So after doing some more research (Read: Scored the website, read all the reviews, etc) I hit up customer service and laid it out to them; I hate wearing things on my head but I hate sweat in my eyes worse, is your product really going to hold up in Hades, also, I have a small head... is one size fits all really going to stay on my midget head? They replied; Yes, Yes and You're going to love your product!
A few days later I received my adorable Pink Halo II - Pullover
Test Run #1 was the 16 miler adventure a few weeks back; Not only did it basically get put through a 4 mile sprint but then it endured a direct sunlight tail end of a 12 miler... of which I spent most of the time explaining to Elsa how great it was working! Quite frankly if they could just work up a way to prevent the sweat mustache I wouldn't even need my wrist rockers anymore!!! SOLD!
Test Run #2 (to be sure it really was as fantastic as it seemed) was my Wednesday run with Therese last week where again, it held up marvelously and I sang it's praises.
Test Run... oh let's be realistic here... I friggin' love my headband and am about to get every color so I can accessorize accordingly...
But here's the best part, the headband is made out of an “Odor-free” VisaEndurance Fabric: a microfiber polyester that has been embedded with silver ions that prevent the growth of bacteria. No bacteria. No smell. I've washed my headband a few times now and there is zero stank left over... unlike my wrist rockers that still come out of the dryer funky every time. (Well that is until X-Country2 shared her odor killing secret)
Survey Says: Redhead Running gives Halo the Rock Star vote! I highly recommend snagging a Halo Headband STAT!

Wow! 1st to comment on your 101st post! I have no hair and prefer a hat even though it does get pretty sweaty.
I also wear the same gitch on my long runs. I thought I was the only one that did stuff like that.
Alright, I'm buying one for me and the hubby. I've been eyeing them for awhile now. Thanks for the review!
I'm sure those are awesome, but I'm sticking with my headsweats hats. I need the brim to keep the evil sun off my face (trust me, when you are older, the idea of "saving face" will take on a whole new meaning...lol)
I don't know... I'm searching for a headband like Juan Martin del Potro wore last night while winning the U.S. Open Championship. That dude is my tennis twin! :-)
LOL - you have quite a way with words Redhead Running - I love that every post of yours that I have read makes me laugh. The boob one especially got me going.
Thanks for the info - 15 minutes of abs? After a run? Oi - do I have a LONG way to go.
Ok, with that, I am going to run two days in a row. And, I am going to try to tack on another mile. That's right, instead of one, I am going for two - without a break in between.
After some water of course - and maybe a another one of your hilarious posts you linked to on the side of your blog. :)
I am with you on the 24/7 humidity!! I am going to have to try these Halo's out. Hey, business idea, let's invent the mustache band and get rich! haha....that would be soooo attractive!
Wow, I love that. Especially because it's pink haha.
YES! I LOVE the Halo. I only have black and need more colors BADLY.
Great timing on this post... I have a Halo headband giveaway coming up TOMORROW!
sweet! I can now complete my Danielsan look when I run. ;)
Ok, I'm going to have to check this product out because I sweat like a fat guy on a treadmill...plus, I just like that color. Thanks for the review.
I request a photo PRONTO!! And did I read Marlene is having a GIVEAWAY!!
As someone who has a Halo I am glad that you joined the Angels...LOL
It sounds like it worked out really well for you! May have to add this to my 'try out' list - since I almost went blind from sweat in the eye last week... damn desert heat.
I love the post and I will agree with everything you said. I will add that they work VERY well under bike helmets and the hat version is every bit as good. WORD.
i hate head sweat. my eyes have burned like no other this summer. i swear it eroded my contacts too making me have to change them wayyy sooner than normal.
great review!!
so I don't sweat on my forehead really, like at all. My brow, nada.
My nose on the other hand, holy cow. I had to buy special sunglasses with a no-slip grip because I sweat pools on my tiny little nose and don't even get my started on the "sweat-stache" ... ew.
Nice, I hadn't heard of this, but I'm going to rush over and give it a try. I'm with you, dont' really like to wear hats, but really need to keep the sweat out of my eyes. Plus, it might keep my hair in place a lil, dang short hair!
Hmm, sounds like I need to invest in this. I hate when sweat burns my eyes. Like I need more things to worry about during those long runs! Thanks for this review :)
cute headband, especially in pink!
Ihave the pink Halo also! I love it. I was thinking just the other day that I really need more than one. I need like six of them. Ok, at least three
Just what I need. A pink Halo head band... This does not exude awesomeness, I will pass.
